My Story
So Georgia, Finley & myself have decided that as a team we are going to take part in this years Race for life. As some of you may know we lost Georgia’s Auntie Katie last year after putting up an incredible fight, dancing her socks off, raising so much awareness & money for ovarian cancer and just being the loved Katie. She will be forever 39. Loved and missed by her children Ellie & Billy, her family and huge circle of friends!! Headphones will be in & with ‘This is me’ blasting I’ll be thinking of you Kate. Like many families we have been rocked many times by cancer & lost other family members, my nan & gramps within 12 months of each other who were a huge part of my life, forever missed & nanny knockit after it returned, always missed. To those going through treatment, stay strong, you’ve got this!! To the families with broken hearts, in you their memory lives on always, I hope eventually the tears are less and more smiles are had when thinking of them. We are blessed with everyday we have, each day is not guaranteed, be happy and live your best life. X Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
