Nanny Carol and Grandad John
We are raising money for Cancer Research in memory of our Nan, Carol and Grandad, John and everyone else affected by cancer. We appreciate any support and sponsorship raised to this great cause and are looking forward to completing the half marathon! Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
