In memory of
My beautiful sister, Sharon Rule, and cousin Nick Best.Taken much too soon but not without a fight
3rd Jun 1970 - 1st Apr 2014
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I am joining the race because my sister cant. She fought so hard, almost always with a smile. I am beyond proud to call Sharon Rule my sister. She was like a beacon of goodness and every one who met her loved her and will never forget her. Sharon would talk of her cancer cells being like squatters who had not been invited and her treatment being like the police force in charge of dealing with the squatters. I see the race for life as being a chance to increase the police force so we can rid the world of these squatters for good. Please help if you can. The amount isnt important, every penny helps, but if we're all in this together how can we fail? I miss Sharon every day and wish more could have been done in time for her. If I can help prevent any one else feeling like I do then I will. Thank you for your time and any help you can give.
