Anyone who knows me personally will not believe I have signed up to this as I am not an athletic person. I last did this race in 2002 when I was a lot fitter. However my 12 year old daughter Elloise wants me to do this with her and I couldn't disappoint her. I will be walking it though so won't be breaking any records :-) Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
