My Story
This Race for Life is for my mum and my auntie who I lost to cancer and myself who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017. It is also for all those diagnosed with, living with, recovering from or affected by cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
