I'm taking part in the Pretty Muddy 5k again this year on the 1st July. This day is particularly important as it would have been my beloved Aunt and Godmother Janet's 72nd Birthday. She lost her battle with Cancer in 2015 and not a day goes by where I do not think about her. She was the matriarch of my family and she is sorely missed. I also run in honour of my Nan and Grandad Cook, who also lost their battles with Cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
