Joanne Walks All Over Cancer

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. Many of you may know that my lovely mummy was diagnosed with lung cancer late last year. It was a fluke it was picked up on a scan for something else, and since that scan it’s been a whirlwind of more scans, investigations, different hospitals, consultants, nurses, medicines and surgery. I’ll be honest, I’ve always been a bit ignorant when it comes to cancer, but it’s amazing how fast (and how much) you learn when it hits close to home. The scale of the ‘operation’ is huge, and my mum is just one tiny percentage of the bigger picture. We need to drop kick this horrible disease and say good riddance, but this won’t happen without funding research. So please donate what you can. 10’000 steps EVERY day in March - I’m mental! But I’ll do it!!!! I’ll do it for my mum. For my friend Lisa. And for all the other people living with and fighting this arsehole. Jo xxx
