Joanna's Race for Life
Nottingham 10k 2018
Sun 3 Jun 2018
This will be my third Race for Life of which I promised my mum I'd do since finding out she had breast cancer - she's now cancer-free and I will still do these until I can physically not do it anymore! My second 10k that I'll be running. The first one I ran, I did the first few kilometres on my own - then I ran the remainder with a woman who, a week previous lost her sister to cancer. It was a very emotional journey and we completed the race together. I struggle a lot with my own health but I know there are people out there who are fighting bigger battles than myself. I welcome family & friends to come to the day to support me, my sister is also running - she's doing the 5k so we will cross paths midway! Come and support us :)
