I'm raising funds to beat cancer sooner.

My Story

Cancer has been taking an interest in my friends and family again. We've been lucky this time and I'm very grateful. It has motivated me to raise some funds for research into cancer and I plan to run the British 10K in London on Sunday 15th July. Running does not come naturally to me. I have been training, am not drinking and am looking forward to hitting the carbs... Cancer affects so many of us - 1 in 2 people in the UK born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime. Some cancers can be prevented, and some can be treated if caught early enough. Please donate to help the experts continue their research and beat cancer sooner. In memory of Grannie, Aunty Kath, Cliff, Nigel, Heather and Ben.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
