My Story
We hear that cancer affects 1 in 2 but its a completely different narrative when that becomes your reality. My close friend has stage IV cancer, she is a single mum of a gorgeous 6 year old girl and completely awe inspiring. The grit, the determination, elegance and optimism is unequivocally admirable and has taught me so many life lessons. Pioneering treatments are essential for relief and the luxury of time. I am so grateful to the research already available and hope that by completing this challenge we can contribute as a collective to any advancement and care where it is needed most.
