Both my aunts and my grandmother.

My Story

I have been thinking about taking up a challenge for a while, and fundraise for this cause which is important to me, for personal reasons. This year I lost another aunt to cancer, and taking up this challenge just feels right. I am swimming for my loved ones, whom I have lost to cancer, for my friends and family, and all those who have dealt with this in the past and may have to deal with it in the future. For myself, treated for cancer in 2011. For my children, and a more promising future for all. Thank you for your donation!

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime.
