OSC TEAM All Over Cancer

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. This March we're walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help US Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring us so.. in theory.. that's 310,000 steps individually and a HUGE 1,550,000 steps for the 5 of us! WEEK ONE: Total 409,738 Steps ( https://youtu.be/e1bZ9J2MWN0 ) Each of us stepped out with enthusiasm and managed to achieve our own goals. Lets hope week two at least equals the same number of steps. WEEK TWO: Total 459,422 Steps Wow - we have managed to exceed the number of steps from last week and are all going strong. Thank you for the messages of support and encouragement. So... here we go week three. WEEK THREE: Total 487,225 Steps ( https://youtu.be/VWXalGBPpt4 ) We have surpassed last week's total again! This is a personal challenge for each of us: some of us are runners, some of us have dogs to walk.... and some of us are definitely becoming rather competitive! But we have all accepted the challenge to walk at least 10,000 steps per day during March to raise money for Cancer Research UK. WEEK FOUR: Total 447,592 Steps Nearly there on our step challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The five of us have only three days to go and we can choose whether to continue a goal of 10,000 steps a day on a personal level or throw the 'Fitbit' out the window! We shall reveal the total combined steps for the month next week, in the meantime - we're nearly there so please help us to reach our fundraising target....... WE HAVE FINISHED...!!! We are absolutely thrilled to have completed the 10,000 steps a day 'Walk All Over Cancer' March challenge and to have been able to contribute towards life-saving research. The five of us have totally embraced this challenge and encouraged, compared and shared stories of how we have individually reached our targets. We can quote the number of steps required to reach every part of the Observatory Science Centre and appreciate that leg length makes a huge difference! So.….. we have achieved a combined total of 2018054 steps - translated, this equates to 4% of the Earths circumference.
