In memory of
Katie Neal
My Story
My little niece Katie was born in September 1992. She died from a brain tumour on the 9th of March 1999 aged 6 and a half. She went blind towards the end of her life, but never told anyone. I never saw a braver little girl and have never been prouder of my sister Debbie, her husband Harve and their son Tom in how they have lived their lives since that day in March 1999. They have been without her now for 22 years, but have never let bitterness or anger take over or let her memory die. No-one who was at Tom and Kim's wedding and listened to his speech will ever forget his testimony to his parents and how they all pulled together since Katie left them. They helped each other through the pain by raising hundreds of thousands of pounds with the Katie Trust to support research into the cancer that killed Katie and to provide respite for parents and siblings that were going through what they went through. Katie is with me every step of the way so please sponsor me so that we can raise money to help beat the disease that took her too young. Thank you so much to those that have contributed already. xxx
