My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete 300 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. I will be pedalling harder than ever because I want to raise money for life-saving research and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. Most who know me understand I've been cycling like ...forever... and way before it was trendy, when the gears were on the down tubes, strap in pedals, not wearing helmets and before the advent of mamils...! However, for all the tens of thousands of miles I've ridden around the UK and Europe over the years I've never really used it to raise money for charity. Which is a shame, coz that was a ton of suffering..! Well now I am. I've a couple of sportives in September and as part of this campaign, I thought, let's just round it up. Hopefully you can help.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
