Jim's Coastal Path Walk around the UK for Brain Cancer Research

I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer after my wife Trish had an operation in May 2019 to remove a brain tumour. Although the tumour was benign I am still raising funds on my coastal path walks

Story

I am a 70 years old Yorkshireman from Hull. I set off from Grimsby on the 12th April 2018 on a 5,000 miles coastal path walk around the UK in an anti-clockwise direction. On the 14th July 2019 I arrived back in Grimsby having walked 3,700 miles having walked the entire coastal path of England and Wales.

On the 18th July 2019 I will start my coastal path walk again from Berwick on Tweed and will hopefully reach John O’Groats before the winter sets in, but I am hopeful of reaching my destination, before a long winter break. I will then return in Spring 2020 to walk from Gretna Green along the West Coast of Scotland, to complete the full 5,000 mile journey at John O’Groats.

I am an avid film maker, and each day I produce a 30 to 40 minutes vlog showing the daily walk, and brief conversations with the people I meet along the way, mostly like minded, experience hikers from all over the world, sharing experiences. There are over 250 vlogs covering each day on my Youtube and Facebook site, which has viewers from all over the world. Please join me on Jim’s Coastal Path Walk around the UK, and please donate to a very worthy cause.
