My Story
As many of you know, I love sport and this "5k per day" challenge is a perfect opportunity for me to take part, raise awareness, and vital funds for CRUK in the quest to "beat cancer". I am doing this challenge as part of a team of fantastic CRUK GPs who are all moving (by walking, running or cycling) for 5km per day in July. This event is important because cancer affects many people; with the chance of cancer affecting one of us in our lifetime being 1 in 2 - and so the need to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer is a driving force for me as GP and CRUK GP.
