Together we will beat cancer

Join us at Lochore Meadows on 17th February 2019 for a 5km walk around the loch followed by a Candle of Hope ceremony to remember those who are fighting cancer or who are no longer with us.

On the day:
Registration opens at 2.30pm where you can pick up your Cancer Research UK t-shirt and candle bag for the Candle of Hope Ceremony. The 5km walk starts at 3.30pm and is followed by a Candle of Hope Ceremony as the sun sets and twilight sets in. Each participant is invited to place a decorated Candle Bag in memory of someone they love who has been affected by cancer.
Hot drinks and food will be available as well as stalls and entertainment.
Registration for adults is £10, £5 for 12-16 year olds and under 12s are free. Participants are asked to try and raise a minimum of £50 to fund Cancer Research UK's ground- breaking research at the Cancer Research UK Edinburgh Centre.
Registration includes a free Cancer Research UK t-shirt and a candle bag for the Candle of Hope Ceremony.
All children under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

This walk is organised by the Relay For Life Dalgety Bay Committee and all money raised will be used to fund ground-breaking research at the Cancer Research UK Edinburgh Centre.
