Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Dave, 43 years old, husband of one of my close friends. Two daughters, aged 12 and 10 years. Bowl cancer diagnosed last year and now it has spread to his liver. His wife, an oncologist, cannot save him. I see his daily fight to survive and see his children grow up and it breaks my heart. This is what will inspire me when I’m running the Chester Metric Marathon on Sunday 7th October 2018 and the London Landmarks half Marathon in March 2019. I don’t want to see another friend, dad, husband suffer. Please help me to raise money to find a way of beating this disease. “If you are losing faith in human nature, go watch a marathon.”
