In memory of Dad & inspired by Mum

About this event:
My 100k March Madness mission with team Awesome Foursome: NicNic, Chloe, Kaye and me!

For the month:
Our challenge was for each of us to run 100km by the end of March 2021.

My motivation:
April 2021 marks a year since Dad lost his battle with throat cancer. We were lucky, we had 5 years with Dad after his diagnosis thanks to great care and treatment options. Whilst caring for him, Mum also fought a silent struggle with her own breast cancer diagnosis, not telling any of us until her tumour removal was booked and she knew the longer prognosis. Early detection meant she was treated quickly, monitored regularly and now has the all clear. Without Cancer Research UK our story would be very different. I'm so grateful for every precious day they've given us together.

My stats:
6/3 5.6km
7/3 5.3km
8/3 3.1km
10/3 6.6km
12/3 5.2km
13/3 8.6km
16/3 5.8km
18/3 5.5km
19/3 3.4km
20/3 8.6km
22/3 5.3km
24/3 3.4km
25/3 9.7km
28/3 9.8km + 4km
31/3 10.4km

Total 100.2km from 6th -31st March
