My Story
Longest Day Up is a motorbike challenge to travel from Land’s End to John O'Groats on 21st June, the longest day of the year, between sunrise and sunset. Route is around 1,000 miles on A and B roads only, and must be done within 24 hours. Bikes must have been bought for no more than £600. I got myself a 30 year old ratty looking Yamaha 600 Diversion within budget. Done quite a bit on it already but still need to do more before the run. I have to get down to the start and back home from the finish 🤞, so will be doing around 2,000 miles all in. I'm doing this in memory of my Dad who fell victim to this disease back in 2005.
