I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
In memory of
Vashti Emma Clayson
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. My dodgy knee and repeatedly broken ankle will not like this so please appreciate that I am risking a 50% chance of injuring myself again doing this. I've loved and lost so many to cancer already but last year, my beautiful friend (and imaginary bandmate) Vashti Emma passed away at the age of 23 after her second battle with cancer. She didn't lose her fight. She found love, she got to marry her soulmate, Harry, and she used her unfortunate situation to inspire so many people. She grabbed cancer by the balls and squeezed like a bitch. I guess it's my turn now.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
