My Story
In 8 weeks, I will be running the Cardiff half to support a worthy cause, Cancer Research UK. For those who know me, you’ll know that I am not a runner. You will also know that, as a family, we've had to face cancer time and time again. That is all the motivation i need. This is for my Grampy, who sadly lost his life in 2012 to cancer, and for the women in my life, who continue to inspire me everyday with their strength - my mother and my Nan. Thank you. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
