After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. I will be taking part this year after cancer has affected my family quite severely in the past year and a half with four people being diagnosed, I want to help raise money to help more people who are affected by it.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
