Nottingham Pretty Muddy 5k 2020
I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer sooner. We need to kick it's ass once and for all. Doing this for someone close to me and for everyone else sadly with cancer x
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. So this is my story to why I’m doing pretty muddy. So I’ve been friends with lynz for quite a few years, too many actually 🙈 joking. We’ve gone through the horrendous fashion years together, done so many crazy drunk nights, which always ends up with us dancing/jumping to the killers Mr Brightside. We’ve shared so many birthdays together as there’s just over 3 weeks between us (lynz is the older one 🙈) we are the ultimate dog lovers. Think we prefer them to humans haha. We’ve celebrated so many events together and been on so many amazing girly weekends, one of which was her hen do in Portugal. Her wedding was amazing and she looked fantastic. Shortly after these wonderful times we found out some tragic news. Back in 2015 Lynz had been diagnosed with a brain tumour, thankfully it was benign, in August 2019 however the nasty bastard came back with a vengeance. She was told it was stage 4 glioblastoma cancer 💔 as you can imagine her world fell apart, all the happiness had been shattered as she’d only been married a matter of weeks. It hit us all badly, no one should be told of this awful news, especially so young. Lynz has been through so much as she’s had to have surgery to try and get rid of what they could of the tumour. Had 30 lots of radiotherapy and is on chemo tablets. Still going for all sorts of tests and doing exactly what she’s been told to do. Even through all of this you’d never know looking at her that was poorly. She makes me so proud to be getting on with life to the best she can. I’m doing this pretty muddy for our pynz and for others to try and beat cancer, it needs to do one and leave us to live a healthy happy life. I’ll try my best to cross the finishing line in one piece and not collapse 🙈 thank you for reading and I’ll be grateful for any donation given xxxx
