In memory of
Karen Dare
Hi all, Yes I am attempting this . I WILL make it to the end even if it takes me ALL day but I haven't run properly since my school days over 20 years ago (!) This is a cause very close to my heart. Cancer has effected lots of people close to me either directly or their friends and families. Every day is a battle in fighting this horrible disease but every little that we all can do will help. We lost my step mum Karen, 8 years ago this year, at the age of 52, nothing could have prepared us for how quick it took her. This run is for her and every other person cancer has effected. I am part of the Drama Group with 7 other friends so (Kim, Chloe, Laura, Fliss, Maddie, Aimee & Jackie) we will get each other through it (hopefully) lol Anybody who actually knows us well, will know this is a big achievement (especially Kim and I) haha x Any donation however small will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Jess & the Drama Group xx "Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
