Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I am running the Race for Life 10K on 14/07/19 in support of Cancer Research UK. There are more than 360,000 cases of cancer and around 164,000 cancer deaths every year in the UK (2015). I want to help this charity to invest in cancer treatments and develop new therapies. I have never run 10K before so this will be a challenge for me! I hope to achieve a time below 1 hour.
