My Story
On the 7th September my friends and I will be taking part in a Race for Life 5k Mud Run. We are running alongside Libby Day in memory of her Mum, Vicky, who passed away in December 2018. Vicky was a very good friend of our family and sadly we lost her far too young. Please read Libby's story here: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/libbys-race-for-life-5190-1?fbclid=IwAR21DfXSEMNpPB_o-A1pToXtwAezOx6qZYJ6LVyj8L8BEJru3ExZNpGBcPI Cancer has already, and still continues to affect the lives of loved ones all around us. As a group we hope to raise as much money as possible so that families like Libby’s get all the help, support and care they deserve. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so any donation would be greatly appreciated. Cancer Research’s goal is for 3 out of 4 people to survive their cancer diagnosis by 2034. By donating today you will be helping to achieve this goal. Let’s make sure everyone wins this race - except cancer.
