Nanny Cissy
In May this year we found out that my husbands Nan had bowel and ovarian cancer. It was a big shock to us all, and even more so when she passed suddenly a few weeks later. She was one of life's good ones and we all miss her so much. My sister in law Emma and I have decided to take part in the Shine Night Walk in her memory, and hopefully we can also raise some money to help beat cancer sooner. CAUSE
Ovarian cancer
Ovarian cancer is the fifth most common cancer in UK women, with more than 130 women every week told that they have the disease. It is often not diagnosed until it has spread, making it harder to treat. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to detect ovarian cancer earlier and find better treatments.
