My Story
In May this year we found out that my husbands Nan had bowel and ovarian cancer. It was a big shock to us all, and even more so when she passed suddenly a few weeks later. She was one of life's good ones and we all miss her so much. My sister in law Emma and I have decided to take part in the Shine Night Walk in her memory, and hopefully we can also raise some money to help beat cancer sooner. Ovarian cancer
Each year, around 7,500 people are diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the UK. That’s 21 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat ovarian cancer.
