Pretty Muddy Manchester 5K 2017

Those of you who know me will know I'm not one for exercise...(possibly an understatement) but when my best friend Jess asked if I wanted to take part in the Pretty Muddy 5K event with her on the 8th July for ovarian cancer I couldn't say no. Partly because Jess always knows best :) but most of all because it's a really important cause and we want to raise as much awareness as we can. Survival from ovarian cancer is much worse than for many other cancers, due to late diagnosis and a lack of effective treatment options. We are people who have had a bad experience with this and know first hand how tough it can be. It is so important to have a strong support network around you.
