To raise money to help young women who are effected by ovarian cancer and raise awareness.
My Story
My best friend J and I have decided to take part in the Pretty Muddy 5K event on the 8th July for ovarian cancer and want to raise as much awareness as we can. Survival from ovarian cancer is much worse than for many other cancers, due to late diagnosis and a lack of effective treatment options. I am someone who has had a bad experience with this and know first hand how tough it can be. It is so important to have a strong support network around you.
