Shine Night Walk London 2022 - Full Marathon
Sat 24 Sep 2022 - Sat 24 Sep 2022
I have always wanted to take part in the Shine Night Walk, but didn't fancy doing it on my own. Two of my friends Kuntie and Caroline are as mad as me, so we have signed up to walk a marathon.
In memory of
Ryan Keen and Nigel Buller who lost their fight with cancer. Always in our thoughts.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 and after receiving both chemotherapy and radiotherapy was given the all clear. My husband Tony was diagnosed with both Hodgkins & Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at the start of covid and received chemo during lock down. He has been given the all clear now. We have had friends and family members lives taken way too early due to cancer. However, we have also thankfully had friends and family recover from this horrible disease. My motto is 'Life is for Living' and by donating to cancer research we can hopefully find a cure in the not-too-distant future.
