My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m taking on the Walk 44 Miles Challenge this October to help raise money for the Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund cutting-edge research by donating to my page. Dame Deborah James was an inspiration to me when I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2019. As a stage 4 patient in 2025, I keep her legacy going by continuing to have rebellious hope. I hope that one day, there is a cure for cancer. In the meantime, I’ll continue to make as many memories as I can and try to spread awareness about spotting the signs of bowel cancer. 🦋

Bowelbabe Fund
Fuelled by the spirit of rebellious hope - of choosing to remain hopeful in the face of overwhelming odds - the Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK was set up to continue the incredible legacy of Dame Deborah James. We raise money to fund cutting edge research into early detection and personalised medicine, raise awareness of signs and symptoms and tackle the stigmas around cancer with unflinching honesty so we can give more people affected by cancer more time with the people they love.
