My Story

10 years ago I lost my grandmother who I was very close to and each day was a struggle. 5 years on my Nanny Joyce Passed away due to cancer and the goings got even harder, she was followed by my Auntie Rean in 2013 and my Great Grandmother (another very inspirational woman) in 2015. I thought that the deaths in my family would ease but they didn't as in July 2015 I lost my furry companion, my cat Pixie, she has a tumour down her stomach and even when she was a kitten there was a similar problem, she was absolitely gorgeous and loved catnip! This years race for life is my 5th event after doing 2013 (Cassiobury Park) and the last 3 years in Hyde Park, I love the route you get to go round for this event and the fact you meet so many people who are also helping to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research UK. I would be really grateful if you could help me reach my target as to me Cancer has played a huge part in my life both in my family and at school! All it takes is a small donation and a new cure could be introduced to potentially save someone's life. If you are feeling up for a challenge join myself and a number of other women around the world amd help us to beat cancer sooner and take part in this event!
