Jenny’s Walking All Over Cancer
My Mum fought cancer for over 16 years, something she wouldn’t have been able to do without Cancer Research UK.
In memory of

This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. I lost my Mum at the end of January this year so raising money for Cancer Research is something extremely close to my heart, especially now. Currently keeping busy and exercising is a good release for all my emotions, so this is good timing to have a motivation to get out and about whilst raising money for vital research. Without this research my Mum wouldn’t have been able to fight for as long as she did and for that I’ll be forever grateful. After her first diagnosis we thought we had a few years if we were lucky....16 years later she lost her fight. But for those 16 years we were able to make the most of every single one and build memories with an added appreciation for her life. Over the years she had various different treatments, some were discovered along the way which meant she could always try something new. Buying extra time meant there was a chance something new would be available. Therefore if money is what it takes to speed up the research process, I want to be able to help other daughters keep their Mums for as long as possible. For anyone who wishes to join me...you’ll likely find me along the seafront every evening in March!
