I’m walking 10,000 steps this March for Cancer Research UK, please support me.

My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. I am taking on this challange as cancer affects so many people we have to keep fighting to find a cure to this nasty illness. I am also taking on this challange to help me get a bit fitter and moving more. To fill my time with walking which is great for mental health and am hoping it will decrease anxiety levels and reduce stress as I will clear my head through walking to gain the extra steps instead of just lazying about. This challange is also to prove to myself that if I set my mind to something I can acheive it.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
