My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Back in March this year I decided to start couch to 5k - I haven’t really ran since I was at school so a long time ago. The last few months I have heard more and more, not only my own family but also friends that are struggling with hearing that dreadful news that no one ever wants to hear! So in honour of all those amazing people that are currently fighting this horrible disease and to the people I have lost in my life - for 31 days in August, I’m getting of my arse and jogging a mile a day to help beat cancer. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. We can all play our part to support the research that will beat it. Help fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
