My Story
As many of you are aware we lost my Auntie Linda to cancer in early March of this year. Myself and Ellie are going to take part in the 5k Race For Life on Sunday 14th July to raise as much money as we can to support the important research that is taking place to try and beat this horrible disease. Please note we will be walking this distance, I don't run for buses never mind anything else and we both have short legs = ) Now as you all know, Linda did love her big sunglasses as do I, and if you see in the photo below Ellie has gotten in on the act too. So lets hope for a lovely sunny day so that we can wear our shades in memory of our Auntie Linda. I am not asking for huge amounts of money, I have only set my target to £20 as I am aware a lot of people donate to charities in other ways so don't feel obliged, but if you could spare even £1 that would be greatly appreciated. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
