Everyone knows how horrific this illness can be so I don’t think I really need a story to explain why I’m racing. I do have a close friend who has fought this illness! She lives with her scars and the constant worry that it will return. I will be thinking of my friend while I’m running. Knowing just how strong she has been to fight! I’m sure it’ll be easy for me to run 5k in comparison. Love you Jo! Xxxxx
