In December 2021 I was diagnosed with hormone positive breast cancer. The tumour was quite large and the cancer had already spread to my lymph nodes. Chemo was started a.s.a.p to give me the best change of fighting it. I've now received 8 rounds of chemo. Surgery and radiotherapy will follow. Now is the time to give back, raise funds and make a difference to other people who are going through, or will unfortunately go through a breast cancer diagnosis. Any spare pennies you have WILL make a difference. I am here today, because of research. With massive thanks to my wonderful sister and nephew who are joining Charlie and I on the fun run. Forever grateful to them for all of their support x

CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
