My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. This cause is very close to my heart. My amazing daddy has recently had a leukemia relapse. So he's fighting again. A very special family friend lost her young son to cancer. My best friends partner fought it but then died of heart attack just after getting the all clear. I've recently been tested for bowel cancer and cervical cancer but thankfully I'm one of the lucky ones. Just recently a very lovely lady who I had the great honour of working with sadly passed away after being diagnosed with lung cancer and cancer in the airways, leaving behind a very young family. It's shocking that nearly everyone I come into contact with has been touched by cancer one way or another. It's evil and we must find a cure. So with a bunch of amazing beautiful inspirational women and men this year too, I'm gonna laugh, cry, run, walk and jog for a truly amazing cause in the hope that one day we'll have the cure that we are all searching for. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Stay safe, healthy and live your life! It's no dress rehearsal. Make the very best of every day. Xx
