My best friend has recently been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer at the age of 29! You never believe that someone close to you will have to go through this & at such a young age. I hope to raise some money for Cancer Research to help other people be diagnosed & treated sooner. By fundraising i also hope to raise awareness about the importance of attending smear tests as this was how my friend's cancer was diagnosed.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
