My Story
Anyone who knows me knows that i don’t do heights or mud..... However just over 3 years ago my dear friend Tracy was diagnosed with a brain tumour 1/4 size of her brain. Whilst she has had surgery unfortunately it did not remove all the tumour, Tracy has spent the last 3 years adapting her life to help her recovery whilst dealing with seizures & other complications relating to the tumour. She has relentlessly battled on with her unique humour and determination, even when at times she has been truly unwell. Over the last 2 years she has come such a long way, although doctors say she will always be in partial remission her family and friends will be with her every step of the way. I could not be more proud of the courageous, humorous and beautiful woman I'm privileged to be friends with for the last 35 years. So whilst I may not do heights or mud...I would do anything for my friend. I’m so proud & thankful to be by her side, doing this together! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
