Team Williamson 3 Peaks Challenge

Thank you for visiting our Fundraising Page. Originally we did not set out to do a charity challenge. However, those that know our family well- have repeatedly asked and encouraged us to think about: "which charity are you doing it for?" ….how could we resist? So here we are...in aid of “Cancer Research UK”- doing what you might ask? - By the end of August 2018 we will have completed our family challenge to have walked the "3 Peaks". Who are we? Jenny (Me) and Tim- we are blessed to have four children. Matt, Beth, Abi and Tom, Together we completed Snowdon last October on the back of storm "BRIAN". We stayed at the Snowdon ranger and walked the Ranger path. Despite the conditions we made it to the "Cafe" at the top for a welcomed rest in difficult conditions- no clear view at the top but we hugged/ shed a tear of relief and ticked off the first one- it was hard, but we did it! We completed Scafell Pike June 2018- wow it was hot, hot, hot!! We stayed at the YHA Wasdale Hall-(Recommend). Packed with plenty of water and sun cream, we were blessed this time with a view for miles - we could even see the Isle of Man from the summit!! That was our reward. Euphoric, we made our way down, knowing we had now achieved 2 of 3 peaks. So here we are- looking forward to travelling to BEN NEVIS 12th August for the final 3rd peak. We will be walking our final peak in T-Shirts provided by Cancer Research- thank you to our friends who encouraged us to consider a charity- this feels right- please help us SMASH our target!!! every penny counts.
