I'll be running for my Nanna who, despite one hell of a fight, was taken by cancer 6 years ago
In memory of
Nanna Madd
Hiyaaa and thanks for clicking through to my lovely page. I've decided to run the Race for Life this year. Yes, you read that correctly: run. I know; Jenny. Running. Jenny... Running? Sounds like a bit from a Peter Kay stand up, but I will give it my best go! At the very least I am aiming for a solid 10 seconds of sprinting for every kilometre I stagger through. I'll have a few of my lovely teammates from Ipswich Phoenix Ladies FC running alongside me. Between them they should be able to drag me out of the way of the other runners when all those fake PE notes come back to haunt me. While I have lost a loved one to cancer, I have also been lucky enough to see some survive it, and hope the money raised here will continue the work to change the odds in favour of survival. Any donation would be wonderful. If it's a bit far from payday for you or you're just not the donate-y type, maybe you could share this page for me in case you know someone who is? Ta very much. Jenny x --- Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
