My Story
I had signed up for the 10K Race for Life in Margate at the end of this month, and I was really disappointed when the event was first of all postponed and then cancelled completely. At the moment I am aiming for completing 75 miles in the month of July, and I am already forty miles in and last month I achieved a total of 82.58 miles. I would love to complete the 10k on the day I should have, but virtually and raise the much needed money for the charity. Though our lives may seem to be on hold at the moment, there is one thing that hasn’t stopped and that’s cancer. To make sure people get the support they need during these unprecedented times, I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please donate to my Giving Page today! If you’d like to join the Race for Life at Home community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/athome We might be apart, but we’re doing this together.
