Cancer in many ways has affected both our lives. We've both seen and experienced the impact cancer has on families. In December 2014, my mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Never did she once let it affect her, even after her hysterectomy, she was down the pub a few days later laughing away with her friends. Her battle continued until sadly on the 23rd October 2015, mum passed away. I will never stop missing you mum. More is needed to help others fight the battle and now it's our turn to get involved. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
