Hello there, I am walking 10,000 steps a day in March to raise money for Cancer Research UK because every 2 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. I know for many people this isn’t a big achievement, and I will admit that it shouldn’t really for me either, as someone who is active and in their early 20s. However, as a masters student who currently only leaves the house for her weekly shop at Aldi or to pick up/drop off books from the library, I thought this would be quite a change from my sedentary lifestyle at the moment. I am also doing this with my 2 housemates (our group name is STEP Sisters) in an attempt to be more active and help raise some money for a very important cause!
