Jemma's Race for Life

in August 2016 my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, after 2 operations to remove lumps and linthnoids it was still unsuccessful. Later we found she had to go through chemo. 6 sessions of chemo lead to Mum losing all her hair and ending up in hospital. It had taken its toll all over her body and made her very weak. It didn’t stop there, once she was given the all clear at hospital she then went through radio therapy. This as she said was the eaisest of all of the cancer, she even came out with a tattoo as she keeps saying! In September 2017 after a year of fighting, loss of hair, sickness and weight loss Mum got given the best news to date. Remission! Yes guys she beat it! I’ve never been so proud of her, even while she was still having treatment she went and supported the race for life last year and has always said since then she wants to do it! We have rallied up our family and are now doing our part in the race for life. I’m asking you to help us raise money for a cause that is still hitting families like it did mine. At least 1 in 2 people will have or no of someone that will have cancer. Let’s defeat this together!
