I am a survivor and together we can support each other and beat cancer.
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k, for the third time, to raise money and save lives. I know through personal experience how a cancer diagnosis can change your life in a matter of seconds. Do not let it beat you - there are good days and bad days but with the right treatment and the support of family and friends, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I have now completed my treatment for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and I am looking forward to a life cancer free. Already treatment regimes are improving and this is happening because of the excellent research that is ongoing but this is only possible if we continue to raise funds. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. And NHL is the 6th most common cancer in the UK, but every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
