My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to walk 100 miles in October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. In 2022 one of my best friends was diagnosed with cancer, and just a couple of months after, the teenage daughter of another really close friend was also diagnosed. My husband has lost many close relatives to the disease including his mother, aunty and uncle, so this year I've decided to show my support by doing the 100 miles walk in October. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
